Chausport, France

When Parisian retail design specialists ID Nollet were asked to design the new stores for French sportswear retailer Chausport, it consulted Bruynzeel to provide a storage solution. It’s brief was to “restyle” and optimize all of the space in a new generation of outlets.

Chausport

The solution

ID Nollet chose the Compactus® mobile storage system for Chausport. Thanks to this system, it was possible to go away from the traditional stockroom at the rear of the store, to have the stock is held in the store itself. The equipment comprises five mobile storage systems and one static shelving unit for each store, fitted with shoe displays and decorated with the logos of the big brands. The shelves can only be accessed by sales staff, who remain in contact with their customers at all times, as there is no requirement to leave the shop floor. Sales staff can then put the stock which is not purchased directly back into the units, aiding good stock management. The shelving units are equipped with an electronic driving system, with a design that contributes to the store’s sporty and dynamic look.
